In this series, we will weave postures through rhythmic movements and mindful postures; grounding our experience in the body, and circulating energy from the power of breath. In this first class of the series, we work on the stretching and toning the front and back planes of the body, flexing and extending. This stimulates the pump of prana/apana vayus, which are two of the prevailing currents of sensation in the body, enlivening us and releasing stagnancy from our bodies and mental states.
