Kushala Yoga is Moving
August 17, 2021Fundraising for Flood Victims
December 14, 2021Dear valued member of Kushala,
Chris and I celebrated our last evening at Suter Brook last night. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset, and a couple hours alone with each other and the space, to say goodbye to our family home for the last 10 years.
The studio was quiet and bare. But what was present, beyond the limits of our senses, were your faces and stories. It struck us that a lot of living has happened in 10 years, and some dying too. We brought to our hearts those who have been in this space that we wouldn’t see again.
Kushala Yoga isn’t a place or person, but a nexus of threads of our lives. We come together to share experiences, to make our lives a bit more easeful, and to connect to the undertones of being embodied. We’ve had fifteen years of doing this together, and we wouldn’t be continuing into years ahead without your support. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Even though this past year has been the hardest we’ve had, we’re resolved to keep doing what we do, in an ever-changing way.
Here are a few photos of our time at Suter Brook. Enjoy.
With love,
Karen and Chris
Classes begin at 3032 St. Johns Street on Friday September 17th, 2021. In the meantime, we are offering Zoom classes and our online library.
